Gregor Jakubowski painted a cycle of big size canvases related to Napoleon for the exhibition at the FIM in Metz in September-October 2005

/eng./ Gregor Jakubowski has painted a cycle of large size paintings on the subject of Napoleon, based on French and Polish XIX-XX century works, as part of the exhibit held during the Metz International Fair, in Lorraine.
The project, including original items like Bonaparte's bicorne from the Berezina period, replica of a detail of the Colonne Vendome, Gribeauval canon, arms, military and bal costumes, cases inspired by the Empire style and monumental entrance, was elaborated by a sculptor Witold Pyzik. The organisation from the FIM side was due to Daniel Egloff, construction by the RM Productions and sculpture Iwo Maj.

/pl./ Grzegorz Jakubowski zrealizowal serie obrazow duzego formatu na tematy napoleonskie, opartych na wzorach polskich i francuskich z XIX i XX wieku, bedaca czescia wystawy w ramach Miedzynarodowych Targow w Metz, w Lotaryngii.
Autorem projektu, zawierajacego oryginalne muzealia, jak kapelusz Bonapartego z czasow Berezyny, replike fragmentu Kolumny Vendome, armaty Gribeauvala, kostiumy, bron i mundury, Empirowe witryny oraz monumentalne wejscie z trophee d'armes, jest rzezbiarz Witold Pyzik. Ze strona FIM organizacja ekspozycji zajal sie Daniel Egloff, konstrukcje wykonaly RM Productions, a rzezbe Iwo Maj.

/fr./ Gregor Jakubowski a realise une serie des peintures de grand format au sujets napoleoniens, bases sur les modeles polonais et francais du XIX-XX siecles, dans le cadre de l'exposition pendant la Foire Internationale de Metz.
L'auteur du projet, comprenant des objets originaux comme le bicorne de Bonaparte du temps de la Berezina, replique d'un fragment de la Colonne Vendome, du canon de Gribeauval, armes et costumes militaires et de bal, ainsi que les vitrines inspires du Empire Style et une entree monumentale avec une trophee d'armes - a ete le sculpteur Witold Pyzik.
Organisation de l'exposition du cote de la FIM a ete assure par Daniel Egloff.
La construction par RM Productions : chef constructeur Frederic Chaettel, Polo (eclairage), Francis (construction), maquette et construction Christophe Lavirotte, graphisme textes Pauline Jankowiak, bandes son Daniel Martin-Borre, sculpture Iwo Maj.
